Skylark Dance Company – Competition Team

Skylark Company is an audition only, in house competition team designed for dedicated dancers who are eager to develop their performance skills and take part in competition opportunities beyond their regular classes.

Led by Miss Jess, the programme benefits from her extensive American competition training and experience, giving dancers exposure to techniques, standards and approaches not commonly found within UK competition teams.

Company dancers receive focused training across multiple styles and work closely with faculty to prepare solos, duos, trios and group pieces for regional and national competitions. Alongside technical and performance training, dancers build confidence, commitment, teamwork and professionalism within a supportive and motivating environment.

Skylark Company offers dancers the opportunity to grow both artistically and technically, while proudly representing Skylark on and off the stage.
