Anna was born in Moscow and grew up in Vladimir, Russia. As far back as she could remember, little Annoushka was smitten with dance; known locally as the “precocious choreographer”, whose hobby was to rally together friends and family for impromptu dance routines and stage performances.
She started from an early age, commencing her dance training at Vladimir Choreography School, under Honoured Artist of Russian Federation – Sergei Baldin, learning classical dance, character dance and music. During her studies she performed as a soloist in numerous ballet performances in theatres across Russia.
After graduating with distinctions, Anna was accepted into Vladimir’s Academy of Performing Arts (VOKKI) where, under the tutelage of Presidentially Awarded Teacher – Svetlana Zolotova, she graduated with Diploma – ‘Pedagogue & Choreographer’.


During her professional career, Anna performed in various ballet and contemporary productions across Russia, wider Europe & China, including lead roles in “Cinderella”, “Coppélia”, “The Seasons” and “The Window of the World” to name a few.
Anna has also toured with the prestigious ‘Rosinka’ dance company, specialising in Russian character dance. The critically acclaimed ensemble has won many international awards in countries such as Spain, France, Sweden, Hungary & China.
Since moving to the UK, Anna has taught for some of the top ballet schools in London & Sussex, including Natalia Kremen Ballet School, Hampton Ballet Academy and workshops with Wayne Sleep.
Anna is a highly accredited teacher for the British Ballet Organisation, with a Diploma in Dance Teaching. She is also a member of Association of Russian Ballet and Theatre Arts.
Anna is committed to promoting the positive message of dance and is a member of People Dancing (Community Dance Organisation). She has participated in the Big Dance Festival on a number of occasions, bringing the Big Dance Pledge project to the Russian Federation for the first time in 2016.
In 2017, Anya received an amazing accolade, winning One Dance UK’s inaugural ‘Rising Star’ Teaching Award.
